Kelly Wearstler Introduces Exclusive Quelle Fête Series by Rotganzen
The inaugural launch in a new initiative from Wearstler introducing curated art and design pieces for her online platform
14 October 2021

Los Angeles, CA - Kelly Wearstler is launching a new initiative, expanding her e-commerce platform to include curated, special commissions by emerging global designers and artists, beginning with the introduction of Netherlands-based art collective Rotganzen. Launching on Thursday, October 14th, Rotganzen will debut five limited edition works inspired by the city of Los Angeles, from their Quelle Fête series, their first U.S. collaboration.
The launch of Rotganzen’s exclusive series represents the debut of a new vertical from Wearstler, the ultimate art, design and interiors curator, who consistently weaves unique and emerging artists and works into all of her projects and residences, both public and personal. With this new endeavour, Wearstler is turning her passion for curation into a platform to spotlight her favourite creatives and provide a place to directly access the quintessential pieces loved and trusted by her.
Quelle Fête by Rotganzen is a playful representation of past glory and a melancholic reminder of the glamour nights in clubs like Studio 54, Paradise Garage and The Roxy. It is also a very visual metaphor of times gone by and the loss of imagined innocence. Painstakingly handmade in the Rotganzen studio, and released only in limited editions or exclusive originals, Quelle Fête is currently one of the most coveted collector’s series around.
Rotganzen’s art pieces, often likened to melted disco balls, are designed for interior display across the home. Each of the five new pieces are editioned and signed by the collective, which includes the petite Tiny Dancer in an edition of 150, and the larger scale LA Woman, Cracked Actor, Tiffany Queen, and Sunset People, all in editions of 10.
“It has been a dream of mine to share some of the artists that inspire me most with my clients and fans around the world. Rotganzen’s Quelle Fête series embodies a beautiful tension of joy and sorrow and blurs the lines between design objects and art, so they are the perfect first partner for this new venture” notes Wearstler. “The five pieces we are introducing, inspired by my hometown of LA, have such a playful humour about them - I know they are going to be a major hit!”
“Kelly has been a big supporter of us ever since she acquired a Quelle Fête original for her home. We are tremendously proud to work with her on this series which we designed entirely and exclusively for her, inspired by that most amazing of American cities, Los Angeles” shared Rotganzen.
The collection will be available exclusively at www.kellywearstler.com/rotganzen.
