KELLY WEARSTLER ANNOUNCES SYNCHRONICITY, A NEW BOOK WITH RIZZOLI

This September, Kelly Wearstler will debut a new book, Synchronicity,  which explores her vivid interiors and the distinctive ideologies rooted at the centre of her renowned practice. With words by acclaimed design writer and editor Dan Rubenstein, Synchronicity invites readers into ​ Wearstler’s boundary-pushing world, showcasing her inventive and opulent residential and commercial interiors.

Marking her first new book in four years, Synchronicity spotlights Wearstler’s decidedly bold approach to design, profiling seven of her latest and most striking residential and hospitality designs. Collectively, the projects featured in the book relay Kelly’s ethos: finding synergy and consonance across the unexpected. While magnifying the realisations of Kelly's collaborative and enthusiastic design processes, the book explores each nuanced detail and how they work together to create something monumental, a cohesive work born from synchronicity.

With immersive photography and extraordinary attention to detail, Wearstler’s unique eye and decisive touch are visible throughout the pages, from a sleek, monochromatic home in Venice Beach to a richly textured beach house in Malibu. On the hospitality front, Kelly provides a unique glimpse into the dynamic new Proper hotels in Santa Monica, California and Austin, Texas. ​Kelly Wearstler, founder, and principal of Kelly Wearstler design studio, is an American designer creating multi-faceted, experiential residential, hospitality, commercial and retail environments as well as expansive collections of lifestyle product designs and brand collaborations. With the demonstration of provocative concepts and expressive narratives signature to her extensive body of work, Wearstler is internationally recognized with distinctive design awards and numerous publications.
