Rotganzen expands Quelle Fête series for Kelly Wearstler with new limited-edition release
Inspired by the Pacific Coast, the Quelle Fête Malibu will be available exclusively at Kelly Wearstler’s online Gallery
27 January 2022

Rotganzen is a Netherlands-based art collective, composed of Joeri Horstink, Erik Schilp, and Robin Stam. The collective launched their first U.S. collaboration in Winter 2021, debuting five limited-edition works from their Quelle Fête series via. Kelly Wearstler’s online Gallery - a curated e-commerce platform that features commissions from emerging global designers and artists.
Inspired by the city of Los Angeles, the Quelle Fête collection offers a new interpretation of the iconic disco ball shape, a playful representation of past glory and a melancholic reminder of the glamour nights of disco. The amorphous characters are covered, through painstaking handwork, with a carefully arranged glittering skin of mirrored glass tiles.

The Quelle Fête Malibu is inspired by the majestic Pacific Coast, a paradise of rolling, thunderous waves. Rotganzen have reflected this by designing and creating the first Quelle Fête with a swirl, resembling an incoming wave. Meticulously crafted in the Rotganzen studio, each piece of this limited-edition release is as unique as the waves of the Pacific Ocean.
“I’m so excited to once again work with the Rotganzen team to introduce a new addition to the Quelle Fête series, after such a successful launch last year. While our first collection was inspired by LA, the new Malibu piece pays homage to the Pacific Ocean and its powerful rolling waves. I’ve always felt a deep personal connection to nature and the sea, so I love that this particular design incorporates some of the majestic elements indicative of California’s innate coastal beauty." - Kelly Wearstler
The collection will be available exclusively at www.kellywearstler.com/rotganzen.
