In a nod to historical Italian marble sculptures, Kelly Wearstler Studio introduces the Butt Stool. Designer Kelly Wearstler hopes these stools will elicit joy and convey her studio’s playful spirit. ​

​The design process for the Butt Stool became a marriage of technology and craft, beginning with a 3D scan, followed by 3D printing to perfect the shape. ​ The final pieces were then hand carved and all have slight variations, each being one of a kind.

“I love the tension of the humorous but highly crafted design. My team and I worked with 3D-modelling and printing in order to refine the design, and we had a lot of fun getting the shape of the cheeks just right,” shared Wearstler.

The Butt Stool will be available in Sunset Pink and Light Stone marble, retailing at $4,900 and available exclusively on KellyWearstler.com.
